Colin Hill

Hill started his career off playing for Arsenal FC in the year 1981, spending five years at the club. After a successful period playing for the Gunners, he moved on to play for Colchester United, spending two years at the club. Hill joined the Blades for £85,000 in the summer of 1989 and soon became a permanent fixture in the side. He could play either as a full back or a central defender.

Tony Agana

Agana started off his playing career at the age of 24 years, playing for Watford FC. He signed for Watford from Weymouth for £20,000 and made a big impact at the club during his season at the club. After playing 15 matches for the side, he joined the Blades for £45,000 and was joint top goal scorer and the Sheffield United player of the year during the 1988-89 season. He played in all of the Blades matches during the 89-90 season.

Billy Whitehurst

Whitehurst was a very well travelled player during his football career; he started his career off at Hull City in 1980 and spent five years at the club. In the year 1985, Whitehurst moved on to play for Newcastle United for a single season during the 85-86 campaign. He moved on to play for Oxford United in 1986, helping the club reach the league cup final. After to years at Oxford he enjoyed short spells playing for Reading and Sunderland before moving on to play from Sheffield United in 1989 and instantly became a permanent fixture in the starting line up, up front for the club.

Mark Morris

In 1981, Mark commenced his football career with Dave Bassett at Wimbledon after signing on as an apprentice. He joined Bassett at Vicarage Road in the summer of 1987 for £35,000, then followed him once again, this time to Sheffield United for a fee of £150,000 in July 1989. His debut season at the club saw him help the Blades earn promotion to the top flight by the end of the campaign.
