Chris Morgan

He started his football playing career with his local club, Barnsley in the year 1998 and spent five years at the club, notching up over 220 appearances for the outfit. He signed for Sheffield united in the summer of 2003 and has now established himself as a key defender at the club. His great play earned him the role of club captain and he has not disappointed. His great play at the back line earned United promotion to the premiership in 2006.

Alan Quinn

Quinn started his playing career at Sheffield Wednesday during the 1997-98 season. He spent seven season with the Sheffield outfit and made over 175 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals. He moved on to play for local rival, Sheffield United in 2004 and soon became a permanent fixture in the Blades midfield. His great play for his clubs has earned Quinn 6 caps representing the Republic of Ireland.

Paddy Kenny

Kenny started his football league career off playing in goal for Bury in the year 1998. After spending four magnificent years with the club and making 145 appearances, he moved on to play in goal for Sheffield United in the summer of 2002. He instantly became first choice goalkeeper for the Blades. Paddy was inspirational in goal for Sheffield United during their promotion winning campaign of the 2005-06 season. His great play also earned him international recognition for the Republic of Ireland.

Steven Kabba

Kabba started his career off playing for Crystal palace before enjoying short loan spells playing for Southend United, Luton town and Grimsby Town. The player joined Sheffield United in November 2002 and during his first season at the club, he netted in 11 goals, helping the club reach both domestic cup semi finals and the play off final. He was prolific in front of goal during Uniteds promotion winning campaign of 2005-06; in only 22 appearances he scored ten goals for the club.
